Ascent Trip ReportThis can be done on mainly park and BLM land, but the remaining part was an ugly, ugly bushwhack for us. There is a lot of construction equipment near the old La Joya mercury mine.
I left a summit register in the rocks near the rusty old hand saw and scythe on top. Great views of the Napa Valley and out to the Sierras.
The summit cairn, with old tools that would have been handy on the painful bushwhack up (2016-02-05). Photo by Andrew Kirmse.
