Ascent Trip ReportThis was my second time attempting this peak. This time, no problem finding the signed trailhead. To get there, take Little Tujunga Road north from Osborne to Gold Creek Road and drive up the road about 100 yards past the signed Oak Springs picnic area. (The trailhead is NOT in the picnic area.) The trail has been very recently reworked from the trailhead to the ridge just before Oak Springs, a delightful place. From there, I continued on the trail (which was reworked in the last couple of years and is also in great shape) to Yerba Buena Road. After a very quick detour down the hill to look at the nearby junction with the Fascination Spring Trail, it was up the road. i detoured to look at the water tank (named Boulder) near the top on the way up, and after hitting the peak, stopped at WT Doane on the way down. At Oak Spring, I then tagged PB 2738 and PB 2749, both provisional, but easy fun climbs. Weather was very overcast with heavy fog above 3200 feet or so. Total stats:
