Ascent Trip Report

The road to the trailhead was surprisingly decent given recent heavy rains (still required high-clearance). Annoyingly, the trailhead has (relatively) recently been moved a little over half a mile further down, as the original boundary, signs, and fence are still standing.

As for the hike, the road beyond the trailhead is a decent trail until it disappears into the wash. From there one can follow the wash as far as one wants to the ridge. We went more directly on the ascent, and followed the wash, more or less, on the descent. Not far above the last major branch in the wash, there is a significant dry fall which caused us to stay northeast of the wash for a while, but other than that the wash was enjoyable.
