Ascent Trip Report

Some photos

Great hike with Jill Still, Mary Aparezuk and Mike Miller. We started south of the peak where Tee Creek intersects the highway. He bushwhacked up the north side of Tee Creek admiring the numerous waterfalls along the way. After just over 700' vertical we enter into some meadows and nearly knee deep snow and shortly after find Tee Lake. We post holed through meadows northward for about 1.5 miles slowly gaining elevation to about 1000 feet until we were just west of the summit. We then headed east and up the remaining steep forested 500 foot vertical. The summit offered nearly subalpine conditions with deep snow and a great view to the east and south looking at the rugged Coast Range. My GPS read 1524 feet which is lower than the 1545' spot elevation. We followed our footsteps back down the mountain and made it back just as the sun set. Very fun adventure on a short winter day.
