Ascent Trip Report

Parked at the church. There is no way I was going to come all the way to LA to bag the state HP and not go up and down the false peaks for some extra gain. Otherwise it is a ridiculously short and easy trip. The trail system is surprisingly well used and there are at least 5 trails I found at the summit of the state HP, fortunately only 2 found going to the false summit. There is a sign by a fence that gives you the route up and across some private land that the owner graciously allows the highpointer to use. No views but a nice woods with a lot of white oak.
