Ascent Trip Report

After 2.3 miles from Glendale on Reuben Rd, turn right on well signed McCullough Creek Rd; follow it 2.4 miles; then left on a narrow logging road for a final 0.7 mile to my parking spot. Grayback's wooded summit is less than 0.5 mile up the slope with under 300' of gain. The summit rock in a clump of trees is sufficiently hidden and protracted by dense brush and small trees with fierce limbs that only Dennis Poulin's orange flagging enabled me to go to the summit in an efficient manner. The register notebook had been signed by John Vitz in 2004, Richard Carey in 2005, and Dean Molen in 2006.
