Ascent Trip Report

I parked the car at the CAP footbridge and headed towards the base of the peak. I came across the fenced off remains of a dwelling. I stayed to the right and followed the ridge line up. There were rock cairns in places. It was a beautiful day with temperatures in the 60s. The cholla were very plentiful. I'm glad I wore sturdy boots, long pants and had a pair of leather gloves on the continuous rock and scree scramble on the way up to the summit. At the top of the first ridge line there is a flat section veering off to the left. I continued across the flat section for some time. Then went up the ridge line following the rock cairns to the right of the massive gully.
