Ascent Trip Report

We started the hike on the hopper trail from the hopper road trail head. It started off fairly mellow but quickly became steep and despite the time of year, was sweating heavily on the steep trail (Money Brook Trail). As we ascended, snow began to show on the ground and by the time we crossed Mount Prospect and reached the summit where there was about an inch of snow covering the ground. It was the steepest portion of the hike (we also covered Williams, Fitch and Greylock in the loop (13 miles). Mount Greylock had some snow and was icy and phenomenal views
