Ascent Trip ReportIt was a cold, overcast day. The dirt roads to get to the HP were muddy in spots and in a rental car I really had to pay attention not to slide out of control. You make the turn off the dirt road at the sign for the HP. Driving back to the HP I had some nice photo ops with the buffalo in the distance and other wildlife. You can probably park at the gate and walk the rest of the way, I'm not sure how most do it. Hopefully when you get to the marker you will have some nice pictures of the buffalo again. |
