Ascent Trip Report4 inches of fresh snow made this a bit more adventuresome. The scrambling on the ridge would make for good, non-committing, practice for aspiring mountaineers under these conditions. Be careful if you are following the old trail, near the mine there is an outflowing of solid ice under the snow for quite a ways and I went down hard! Fun scrambling and crystal clear skies. The Tushars, South Tent, Mine Camp, Fool Creek, Moriah, Wheeler, Notch, Swasey, Geroge B. Hansen, Ibapah, Pilot, Graham, Deseret, Flat Top and the whole Wasatch were easy to make out. What a nice vantage point and the silence was intense.
