Thurston Peak 9,706 ft, Davis and Morgan County Highpoint.
Drove the dirt road all the way up Farmington Canyon and parked near the radomes on Francis Peak.
Discovered the early Autumn storm left a nice white blanket of snow above 9,000 ft. Fun snow-hike!
Just walked along the jeep road for a couple miles. Then continued on the established single track to just below the summit of Thurston Peak.
Left the trail and only had to go cross-country straight up the hill for half-mile and found the summit plaque.
Thurston Peak is a "Two-fer" because it counts as the highpoint for both Davis and Morgan Counties. Bonus!
