Ascent Trip Report
Approached from Mantua up through Willard Basin. Only 1.5 miles from the trailhead! (vice the 8 miles from North Ogden Divide). Although, in hind-site, not entirely sure the treacherous dirt road was worth even the drastic hike distance savings. Low clouds by the time I got to the trailhead. Willard Peak was socked in when I summited. Then Thunder-claps chased me off the top of the mountain.
Then tagged Ben Lomond just over a mile away along an easy ridge with well used trail. |
