Ascent Trip ReportPart of a Meetup group. We met at campsite #7 on Cherry Mtn Rd. We briefly followed an old road, then bushwacked over to another old road. Then turned off that and bushwacked to the summit of east peak first. We had some views from here, including Crawford Notch. We then bushwacked over to the true summit. I spotted a pine martin on the way over. It only hung out for 3 seconds before it disappeared. We found the summit canister on Deception, then bushwacked back to our cars. |
