Ascent Trip Report

This is a pleasant little walk. The directions from Summitpost are solid, although I don't know if I'd want to take a 2WD vehicle on the last half mile. The trail is occasionally a little hard to follow, especially down low, but it improves up higher, and you get spectacular views of Mt. St. Helens right next door, Adams behind it, Rainier, and Hood. This is the joy of climbing these lower peaks in southern Washington ... you get to look up at the big stuff.
