Ascent Trip ReportAfter Sable, I bushwacked over and ended up not far below S. Baldface. I went through some very open woods and saw a sign of a deer bed. Further along, I entered an area that was probably boggy during the summer, and waist high grass. Good thing it is late Sept. I'm sure the ticks and bugs would have been horrific there. I spotted Baldface Knob, and to do some red-lining, I angled myself to hit the Baldface Cir Tr, so I could go over Baldface Knob without doing a back-and-forth. I accomplished that, then went up Eastman. Great views of Sable, Chandler, and Doublehead's from there, along with South Baldface. Went down Slippery Brook Tr, which was overgrown. There was a drainage area where I lost the trail for about 10 minutes. This trail needs a lot of work.
