Ascent Trip Report

Started at parking lot for sandwich mountain trail. Cool day but expected to get sunny. Nice climb to Noon Peak with the last section a bit of a scramble and not either trail up has to cross a stream and if there is snow melt or has been a lot of rain it may be difficult to cross. Then on to Jennings (have to take a side trail to go there but it is only 0.2 miles. there is a lookout near Noon Peak and on Jennings but I was in snow squalls and there was not a lot to see. Continued on to Sandwich and the first half is just a walk but gets a little steeper when you get there. Walked around and found some piles rocks that may have noted the County Carroll high point but walking all around had to have hit it. (no GPS) Still had snow squalls. Went back down but took the Drakes Brook trail when I came to it. This is a very mild trail for the most part. Half way down the sun came out, still a great day to hike.
