Ascent Trip ReportHiked Lassen Peak after Brokeoff Mountain. It's less then a 10 mile from the parking lots to the trailhead. Well maintained trail. There is an observation point at the top, however you need to work a little further to the actual peak. The USGA marker is located along the western side of the peak (west of the cement pad). It was very cold at the top. There was ice that was forming at a right angle on the rocks due to the weather change. It was nice to see the season change up there.
