Ascent Trip Report

Biked from the Blackwoods campground around the loop road to the Precipice trailhead parking lot. I had read the descriptions of this hike and was really looking forward to it. It is an awesome hike - lots of iron ladder climbs, ridge/climb traverses, etc. It is a lot of fun and highly recommended. We took the advice of everyone and did NOT try to hike back down this trail, but instead hiked the ridge trail north and then down to the orange+black trail which hooks back up with the precipice trail near the parking lot. The entire hike took just over 2 hrs round trip.
