Ascent Trip ReportWanting to do a hike but not fighting the cars going north I decided to hike Monadnock today...It was either Dublin or Pumpelly & I opted out for Dublin as I just wanted a nice short hike.
Wanting to do a hbike but not fighting the cars going north I decided to hike Monadnock today...It was either Dublin or Pumpelly & I opted out for Dublin as I just wanted a nice short hike.Was at TH by 7:15 only 2 cars in lot & on trail by 7:30.Temps were very nice for a hike .I didn't see a soul going up but did see a few coming down from their sunrise hike.Wish I could get up early enough :-) .Got to summit at 9 & was rewarded to great views...Heard a few people say I can see Boston.Don't know about you but I didn't hike this to see Boston LOL .Summit wasn't to crowed & met someone that just finished her 48's CONGRATS ....Started down after a half hour of relaxation .
Glad I got out & did a hike ...All in all a great day |
