|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Location:||USA-New Hampshire|
| Elevation:||4320 ft / 1316 m|
Ascent Trip ReportDidn't spend enough time here, even though there were some good views, one being northeastish(?) looking out to a castle in the distance. Didn't stay long due to thunder getting close. Rain and storm avoided.
3 day, 2 night trip.
1st night, found campsite, setup, was eating and noticed 2 piles of bear scat, a beat down area of ferns (assuming a bear slept there), and game trails. Packed up, moved on to a site just down the trail from Zealand Hut on the Ethan Pond Trail, half a dozen AT hikers were there, setup camp.
2nd night, Ethan Pond Shelter, perfect location for sunset, moose in the morning eating in the pond.
Gave 3 AT hikers a hitch to Crawford Notch Visitor Center, 2 of the same guys from 1st night's campsite.
