Ascent Trip Report

We hiked in from Tenderfoot Trailhead. It is a relatively easy hike in. A lot of trees across the trail, but that will be remedied soon enough and should not concern climbers, as they will either be gone of you will get over them as we did.
The trail does disappear a few times on the way up to Wing Ridge, but it is easily found except for the meadow directly below Wing Ridge. Once you come out of the trees, look for a grassy knob that is about 30-40 feet high. the trail goes directly over that knob and continues to the ridge. We went to the right and found the trail soon enough, so even that way it was easy enough.
Once on the ridge you will need to go over and then turn east. There is a rocky section you will need to descend below, perhaps 200 vertical feet down. A faint climbing trail is present but takes a sharp eye to keep track. It is more obvious on your return trip. Once around the rocky section you aim for the bunches of trees on the ridge above you and over the top to a very nice sloping plateau that you walk across. It steepens as it ascends but is never really steep. 25 degrees or so at the most.
This is a very fun climb with a ton to see!
