Ascent Trip ReportTrail run from Boynton Park. Parked at the end of Mower St., ran down the unmaintained dirt/grass road to Camp St. Camp St. to the end, went into the woods when the road ended. This area is great for trail running, but is very easy to get lost in as there are a lot of trails. I stayed on what was blue blazed trail, ventured off this somehow and made it to a trail blazed with a red rectangle. Stayed on this red trail for a bit, maybe a mile at most, going up the hill and taking a spur trail to the tower farm up there. Instead of going down Asnebumskit Rd. I went the other direction down the dirt road Asnebumskit turns into. There is a great view towards the due west a little ways south of the summit on the road Asnebumskit Rd. turns into. Apart from this, just trees, a small logging operation, stone walls, more trees and really impressively well built tarp shelter. This might be really fun and scenic to do in the winter, and I'm sure there are great views from the forested summit, its just about finding them.
