Ascent Trip ReportTried to access the high point of Pocket Ridge via Russell Road off of 635, Haycock Road. Russell Road goes all the way to the ridge but ends at a house. There's a mowed lane that seems to continue on towards the tower, but I retreated. I then took 615, Griffith Lane, to Woods Gap. The road does continue south. A road also heads east in the direction of Pocket Ridge. And a third road heads west in the direction of Rakes Knob. All three roads were posted so I turned around. |
