Ascent Trip ReportFantastic day from Hendry canyon. Totally the way to go if you have the time and energy for 20 miles and 6200 vertical. My favorite desert peak route so far. Big cliffs, Indian shelters, Massive ponderous down low, old aspen groves with 1910 era inscriptions, and then thriving limber and 2 ancient bristlecone pine groves up high. One at the small saddle on the north ridge coming from The Table. The better one is not on the trail and is on the east spur ridge that come off the white shoulder north of Moriah. Highly recommended to see some of these twisted patriarchs. 4 bighorn sheep including a baby.
