Ascent Trip Report

This was an easy hike up through Edison trails. It offers very nice views of the 5 and 14 Freeway Interchange. There was almost constant traffic both on the road and in the air overhead with traffic headed to Burbank or Van Nuys Airports. The ascent is fairly easy to the Benchmark which is hard to miss. I had planned on continuing up to Peak 3119, but the trail was not clearly defined so I thought better of it. If I was going to do it again, I would start at the Elsmere Canyon Open Space Preserve trailhead about a quarter mile northeast along Sierra Highway.
