Ascent Trip ReportBen Still and I hiked in to Ingalls Creek camp the day after coming out from Glacier Peak. A quick 2 hour hike. 4 miles, 2200' elev gain and 1400' elev loss. Woke at 3:00am to get an early start before the heat took its toll on us. Left camp at 3:37am. On the summit via Cascadian Couloir in 3.5 hours, just after 7am. Spent almost an hour on top. Beautiful day. All big volcanoes visible. Left the summit at 8am. Back in camp by 10am. Packed up and on the trail by 10:30am. Back at the pass at 11:30 and the car by 12:30pm.
Then drove to SeaTac airport for our 7:15pm flight home to Anchorage after a good 10 day trip up Olympus, Baker, Glacier and Stuart.
