Ascent Trip ReportParked at the Seven Springs Main Lodge. Walked up beneath the Blitzen ski lift to Lake Tahoe area. Then walked to the high point in the wooded area beyond the end of the Gunnar ski lift. Since I found notices at the top that the route that I took up the hill was in fact restricted solely to mountain biking during the summer, I decided to head back down using the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail which is fairly well blazed with yellow markers.
I was going to try to head over to the Laurel Hill - Radio Tower on the other side of County Line Road, but as I returned to my car at the Seven Springs Main Lodge the sky opened up with a torrential thunderstorm.
