Ascent Trip ReportDelilah's first bushwhack - she's made for this type of hiking.
Our hike began at the same parking lot that is used for the Bucklin trail, but instead of going into the woods on the left, we went through the gate that blocks the road.
Marc led most of the time, so Delilah stuck with him. once in awhile, she ran (all the way back) to me to check in. other than the fact that i was out of shape, it was a pretty easy hike. we found the jar, signed in, and headed back toward the trail. Marc continued on to do Killington and Pico, while Al and i headed back to our cars and then to Long Trail Brewing for a brew and a burger. i'll still need to get Pico another time, but that's fine.
Marc met us at LTB a couple hours later, and we all headed back to the white house where Marc and Al stayed the night before their next VT hike. |
