Ascent Trip ReportWe took the Long Trail south. The first 2 miles is all in the woods. VERY wet but otherwise not too bad. Just relentlessly up. The final .3 is above treeline and involves some tough scrambles. Not recommended unless you are an experienced hiker. At one point, one false step and you're a goner. Not recommended for pets or young children. Took the Haselton Trail down along with some ski trails. Ski trails have awesome views but extremely steep. Haselton Trail follows streams the entire way down. Very wet the whole way but less steep than the ski slope. |
