Ascent Trip Report

A very easy ascent in the summer and early fall, this was more annoying than anything since the snow had not melted and we had to deal with deep snow drifts until above the tree line. Above the tree line however it was a quite pleasant hill walk. Great views to the South and West of many of the peaks of the Cascades from an angle that I don't often see these peaks from. To the North and East you can look in to Canada and Eastern Washington at much more flat and rolling landscapes. A very quick ascent and descent for some phenomenal views. Not normally accessible until at least May since the road to the trail head is above 6000 feet. At the end of April we were just the 3rd party of 2015.
