Ascent Trip ReportExcellent trip overall. One day in to schurman, summit day and one day out. Team of 8 all made it to summit. Weather window for summit day was perfect. Alpine start on Sat night at 12am, navigated heavily crevassed emmons glacier and attained summit at 9am. Descent at 10 am, back to camp at 3pm. No incidents along the way. Navigation was challenging due to late-summer conditions, but climbing conditions were good. |
