Ascent Trip ReportCamping, hiking, and geocaching on Angel Island. The weather was typical June Bay Area climatology. Hot, Cold, windy, calm, dry, wet all in the same day often changing every 100 feet. We set up camp and then hiked to the summit of Livermore. Nice maintained trail all the way to the top. Except a little overgrown on the last couple hundred feet. Had the top to ourselves at about 3:30 or 4PM. Hike started from our campground to the trailhead at the junction of the fire road and Perimeter Road on the southeast side of the island. We descended back on the Sunset Trail on the northwest side of the mountain.
