Ascent Trip ReportHike Wildcat Ridge from Wildcat E thru A, down to 19 Mile out to RT 16. Started at Glenn Falls parking. 5:41 from trail head to trail head. Conditions up, wet, semi-slick. Obtained extra water about 1 hour up. 2 hours to E. Cloudy, windy and cool crossing the ridge line althought it wasclaering by the time I go to A summit and found the cairn. Carter Dome was cloud capped. I hiked down and decided to continue out rather that do my stretch goal of Carter Dome. It was sunny but cool and breezy when I got to Rt 16. First car picked me up for the ride back to my car. |
