Ascent Trip ReportClimbed twice in 2014, once after work with Wiedmayer, once as an overnight in the Lookout with Courtney and Ian.
Interesting hike, goes through an eerie burned forest at one point. Once the lookout is in sight, you must bushwhack over towards it, an area where I got lost for a little bit on the way back the first time.
The fire lookout is really awesome, very fun place to spend a night. I would highly recommend spending a night there, super fun.
Edit: Realized the fire tower is not the true summit on my third time up, reached the summit on 6/13/15 and camped in the fire lookout again. |
