Ascent Trip Report

Easy one for a change. Finished work and still plenty of daylight so drove up and parked at cul-de-sac near paved drive to water tank. Hiked down and out of the neighborhood across Goldmine intersection and down hill on Fairview Road until I found the creek on the USGS map and made this my ascent TH. Jogged up the road and all the way to the tank. The HP is not within the fenced area. The observation tower is long gone that was on the USGS map and replaced with but what else of course? - a water tower.

Or of course for those that like to highpoint more than peakbag you can simply drive all the way up to it. But a nice urban leg stretcher distance if you want hike up from a fixed point.
