Ascent Trip ReportGot lost ascending out of the willows area below the Sawtooth. I couldn't believe the route description and turned north rather than going up the specified very steep gully. I ended up coming up the north face of Mt. Spalding and was confused. After looking South and seeing Evans and West Evans, I realized my mistake. I set out for the west ridge and started up but ran out of time and had to turn around and come back down the correct route. |
