Ascent Trip Report

Ascent from Priutt 11 Hut as part of a group organised by Exodus. Fair weather to the Saddle where the guides decided that we would not go to the West Summit. Summits were cloud capped and it was quite windy higher up, but no worse than typical Scottish winter conditions. Epic glissade on the descent from about 5,000m to around the base of Pastukhov Rocks - saved floundering in the soft snow! Returned 20 years later for the West Peak.
