Ascent Trip ReportBelieving there was a road to the top of Mt. Alexandra, starting from Mittagong, I drove where each of 3 locals told me there were great views atop Mt. Alexandra, and, each, in turn, directed me further away from where I thought was the peak to a road which turned out to be going up Mount Gibraltar. The 4th local I then asked told me there was no road up Alexandra, but there was a nice trail of a few kilometers, and I was on the wrong road, the one going up Mount Gibraltar. Running out of time, I continued up the road to Mt. Gibraltar, giving up this "attempt" on Alexandra. |
