Ascent Trip Report

Rained last nite in Fort Davis but stopped around 7:30. We headed to Davis Mountains Preserve where it was not raining and after checking Madera Canyon Road condition and signing in, ventured down near to the gate some 4.7 miles up the canyon to park. Hiked up Cat Tank Rd and veered off to climb up onto the Southeast shoulder ridge, then followed ridge to summit. Zero view since we were socked in.
