Ascent Trip Report

Left at 4:30am. Snow begins near 4800' (low snow season).
Snow conditions beyond 6000': at least microspikes and poles (ice axe preferred) is recommended.

Gorgeous views of the South Cascades. Could also see enough over the crater rim to have a full view of Rainier.

As you can see by the gpx, we missed the crossing at Chocolate Falls. We also rested at ~7800ft for 1.5 hrs because a teammate was nauseous.
