Ascent Trip Report

Kelley and I parked at the Rabbit/Villager trailhead located along Highway S22 at call box number 319. From the truck, we hiked 1.4 miles through the open desert and then up Palo Verde wash, located the old Miners trail, then hiked about 1 mile to where the trail drops into and ends at a wash. Next, we headed about 400' up the wash, then hiked up the ridge to the main ridge, made a left turn and followed the main ridge to the top, all on a use trail from the wash. From the top of Pyramid, Kelley and I made the out and back trek to Marble peak along the ridge, which was about 1.4 miles round trip. My GPS track and trip stats include an ascent of Marble Peak.
