Ascent Trip Report

Arrived at the trail head after a club hike of some kind with about 25 people and followed their trail. Since we didn't have snowshoes they got very upset we were on their trail and all but one let us know it, some more than once (this after we observed at least 3 peeing on the trail).

Made it to the top as they were eating lunch (we intentionally kept them ahead of us) and left ahead of them - the less contact with them the better! Definitely the most obnoxious people I have ever met while hiking. We saw 5 more people on the way down. Hiked to the road and drove to Rusk.

No views.

First use of hiking poles - great addition
