Ascent Trip ReportLeft Syracuse at 5 and got to the trail head at 8:00 am and began hiking on the trail at 8:15. After the bridge we took the unmarked fisherman's path and then branched off on the wrong ridge (too early). We figured out where we were and bushwhacked but hit a herd path that probably came from Table which took us to Lone's summit.
Ate lunch on Lone's summit then followed another herd path toward Rocky which dissipated and we bushwhacked again. There were some decent views. As we left Rocky we could hear other people but never saw them. We hiked through some brush and eventually picked up the fisherman's path and hiked out, arriving back to the trail head at 5:15 pm for a 9 hour day (11.15 miles).
