Ascent Trip Report

Did this one in winter. It was tough but fun -- took us almost 10 hours. The last push from the tiny lake above Hearst Lake up the endless talus field to the summit was brutal and slow in new snow. Our more direct descent would have been a faster way up. Fun day with my old Bozeman pal Al Parker.

** The GPS went dead at Hearst Lake on the way down. The total trip was somewhere between 15 and 16 miles
