Ascent Trip ReportMade it up to where the snow stopped and rock/ice began on this backcountry ski tour. Could see the summit bought 100 feet away in the cold windy summit. Nice skin up to the top, steep in parts but not too steep. Skied down the tight Clark trail ( bought 8 feet wide= hiking trail). Then down Alexandria trail cut by the CCC. Then hiked/ shimmied for 15 minutes looking for the kimball ski trail, then skiied down that. With Tim, Steve, Lou, David, Anthony, Theja, Ian and Sam. Awesome powder runs! |
