Ascent Trip Report

Approached from Elk Pond Mountain (see trip report) using Boundary Line Trail (blue blaze). Followed trail / road to intersection of road leading to top of Rocky Mountain. Followed road to top, scrambled to top of highest rocks. Returned via road and trail to broad north ridge of mountain, leaving trail southwest of Lovingston Springs. Followed the top of the north ridge northward (no trail), eventually dropping down to intersect with loop trail near Wigwam Falls and then returned to car at Blue Ridge Parkway. Some steeper spots just above stream and Wigwam Falls area.
