Ascent Trip ReportThis was the second stop on an 8pt hike.
(See Phil Benchmark trip report for directions/first part)
We continued from Phil BM on to Norte BM. Leaving Phil BM, headed south to a saddle. This part required some bouldering. Once at the saddle, we weaved our way around brush and boulder to the summit block. The summit block only appears that way from the saddle. We scrambled up the block only to find walk up access on the other side. We signed the register; found remnants of the benchmark but didn't find the station disk. After taking some photos, we continued to Cody BM. We returned to the saddle back towards Phil BM before descending XC to another saddle to the east. (See Cody BM trip report)
