Ascent Trip ReportXcountry .... 2 mile, 60 minutes.
There are 3 candidate high point areas for this county, in an all cotton field plateau. I followed the directions in Bob Packard's TR. I went to the coordinates, nothing obvious, stomped around till satisfied. One of the field was plowed the other 2 were not.
This was very easy walking but time consuming.
These roads are all dirt (a grader was working the roads) and will be a problem when wet. Also it goes without saying the visit should be in the off-season (winter).
More cotton fields ..... Oh when those cotton balls get rotten you can't pick too much cotton.
"APPROX 90% OF THE WORLD'S RECOVERABLE HELIUM IS LOCATED IN THE GROUND UNDER AMARILLO, TEXAS." .... a texas fact
