Ascent Trip Report

Began at Mt Pleasant (Lanum Loop) trail parking and took the Old Hotel Trail to the AT, then hiked north on AT to the top. Spent a pleasant evening and a nice, cool night near the summit. Saw a large black bear while we were packing up the next morning; he looked nervous. We continued north, descending on the AT, to the gap then returned to car by the roadway the following day.
