Hiked with HVH (approx 17-18): Eric Ortner (organizer)
Microspikes. Snowshoes not needed. Crampons not needed. Poles recommended for pace

Cold, very sunny, brisk winter day. Started at trailhead 0F. Calm, no wind. Packed snow. Icy patches on return loop from Rocky. Not alot of fir / balsam during bushwhack, given winter season, though still some areas. Lost right contact lens on Lone summit. A few scratches on face. Sweated! 1 layer thermal top, 2 layers bottom. Handwarmers & footwarmers. No hat, approx 4L water
